Film A Day

Holy shit this movie.

I bet you didn’t know that Kurt Russel made not one but two incredible westerns last year. Well I’m here to say that you should.  If you thought the deaths in “The Hateful Eight” were brutal you might not be prepared for the finale this movie has in store.

The story is simple,  four men set out to rescue victims kidnapped by cannibal Native Americans.  If you are sensitive about the portrayal of Native Americans you need not worry.  The movie draws a clear line between these fictional bad guys of and their real life counterparts.  Other native tribes want nothing to do with these monsters expressing offence at the comparison of the two peoples.  The films gruesome villains are even removed from humanity having no language and howling like banishes in the night.
