Mark Hamill talks Episode VIII at Star Wars Celebration


May the Force be with You is a thing of the past

During his panel at Lucasfilm’s annual Star Wars Celebration, this year being held in London, Mark Hamill took a few minutes to talk briefly about Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Although Hamill couldn’t say much — something he mentioned at the top of the hour-long panel — he mentioned that there were so many new catchphrases in Rian Johnson‘s film that “May the Force be with you” would feel like a thing of the past by the time fans saw the movie, according to Variety.

“I was looping Episode VIII yesterday. Rian Johnson is amazing. His dialogue will make you forget ‘May the Force be with you’,” Hamill told the crowd.
