Reflections of the Mind

This is the story of my first LARP experience. Settle in, this may take a while.

Our tale starts roughly a year ago, when I decided to try participating in a LARP as one of the 101 goals I set myself. I already had a lot of experience and fun with roleplaying, and had taken a year of theatre. LARP stands for Live Action Role Playing, and is sort of a combination of the two. Usually, when you combine two awesome things, you get something that is even more awesome. So too in this case.

Sometime before the summer, Alice gave me a link to a list of LARPs that are arranged in Norway. She also pointed out one especially which she would be going to and which was to be arranged by a group that had been doing this for years and was apparently really, really good at it…
