UK Games Expo at the NEC
This weekend saw the arrival of the biggest gaming convention in the UK at the Birmingham NEC. I went along with a last-minute ticket, meeting up with Alex and Tim from Big Red Barrel, as well as other friends from Tabletop Tuesdays at Loading. I could only manage the one day, but it was one of the highlights of my year so far.
The UK Games Expo has been running for 10 years and caters for board games, war games, RPGs and CosPlayers (although board games are by far the largest group represented). It used to run out of the Hilton Metropole next door to the NEC, but has now grown so large that it needs to be held in one of the main halls of the NEC itself.
