While I’ve been having a very good time play Chain Reaction solo I’ve been wanting to try something different lately.  My two main options, NUTS! and I Ain’t Been Shot Mum, are both available to preview on the website Scribd, but you can’t print them without a membership and they are both older versions of the game.  I could just buy the new version from the authors but I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger on a 20 dollar pdf file.

I tried to play IABSM unsuccessfully but it was very hard to constantly look things up on a pdf file.  I started with 4 friendly units and 8 enemy blinds.  The card drawing technique made for a very bad game with the lopsided number of cards.  The enemy blinds went twice as many times as my guys and pretty much decimated me.  I also tried playing with my…
